SR5 gauge cluster swap problem

Well it seems everyone has had problems with the cluster swap, mine being insignificant to others, but none the less annoying. First the parking brake engaged light doesn't work (it did on the delux gauge). Also it seems like the oil pressure might be low. At idle it sits at one line above the lowest line. Any chance for a fix for the parking brake light?

Did you replace the bulbs?

No, all the other bulbs work. The battery light, the check engine light, 4WD light, High beams light, and all the gauges light up. No bulbs appear to be out. Seems like the parking brake bulb is burnt out than?

Sounds like the bulb is out, pretty easy to check.

As far as the oil pressure goes did you swap out the sending unit?

Do you have a picture of how high the oil pressure gauge reads with the engine running? Also, the bulbs being burnt out in used gauge clusters is pretty common. One of the bulbs was burnt out in my clinometer as well, and I didn't find out til I already had it installed

Yes I replaced the oil pressure sending unit with the proper one. I don't have a picture, but it sits at basically the "1/4" mark at idle. Im going to see about replacing the bulb(s). I also have the inclinometer to install.

About the 1/4 mark is were my oil gauge reads, so that`s about normal.

thanks myyota. Replaced the light bulb for the parking brake and it now lights up. Also there is a slot for a bulb for "oil at temp". If you put a bulb in there it will render the oil pressure gauge inoperative.
