speedo gear tooth count?
im at the dealership as i type this. the parts clerk says i need to know the tooth count for the speedo gear. ive searched cant find anything. he asked if i knew my vin# and since im not driving my rig right now i dont... and dont really feel like making a 2nd trip out here i was wondering if anyone knew it off the tops of their heads? heres the info.... built nov 1984. 4runner. 22re. 5speed... yadadaada. stock tcase gears. can anyone help?

No but I found it out. There's 2 dif options an 18count (5 speed) and a 19count (auto) why the toyota tech didn't know this after I told him I had a 5 speed still puzzles me.

Hmmm...probably not really a tech, but you'd think every counter person would be able to figure out 5 spd meant manual. Glad you got it figured out. All I could come up with was a part number for ya, nothing on the tooth count, though.
