When replacing the door glass in a 4runner drivers door, what do you use to secure the glass to the part between the glass and the regulator. Hope this is plain enough.
there is a channel that goes on the bottom of the glass , and then it bolts to the regulator , then it has a rubber "pad" its fairly difficult to install , soapy water and a rubber mallet
Thanks Slacker, but the rubber on the glass is 37 years old and cracking so I talked to a local glass man and he said to use clear silicone, I did and it now works great. Thanks again.
