rear seat options

what kind of seats can i substitute in and install in the back of an 85 4runner? i cant really find a first gen rear seat so im wondering if there are any other rear seats that are easy to put in with little or no fabrication.

Here's the links page from the wiki. I've been adding to it for quite awhile now. Lot's of part sources there.

Also here's another Toyota dismantler. Bought a speedo cable from him last week.

If you're looking for used parts the BEST site on the web is definitely Car-Part.com

I had planned on putting buckets in the rear of mine. I went off of demensions of the rear seat self and overall height. Was planning a simple block. But had a third child so no bucket seats.

Looked like they came out of an Astrovan

I have 2nd gen rears in my 1st gen 'runner. The bolts holes are close enough. I was able to thread each bolt, then tighten my way around a bit and lock everything down nicely. The bracket that locks the seats in the upright position needs to be moved, IIRC.

Zuwoko- What are those out of? I'd love to adapt something that folds down that flat for the front seats.
