rattle can paint job - 4runner

DAY ONE
before

taped some more off (till i ran outta tape)

my neighbor though i was crazy for standing on the hood....? LOL






driving up the driveway was fun.. NOT SO MUCH



now all i gotta do is the rest of the roof and the back... and do my stencils.. and the wheels black

not bad not bad una...but why not the roller paint trick? seems tried n true, and (by lookin at brians thread over at ttora) id guess easier to apply consistantly?

its coming out awesome.. i cant believe how well the paint is covering the red LOL

i like the idea of spray paint anyways i dont look QUITE so hillbilly in my front yard as i would rolling on my truck... i already had the neighbors come ask me what in the hell i was doing LMFAO

Yes they do. It doesn't take long using any spray can for a stiff/sore/tired finger to attract your attention.

Wow~
Women with paint scare me. You never know what's going to change color.

It's kinda funny, I painted my '85 4runner also, and I had an almost identical set of dents by the back taillight. I have an air compressor tho and so bought the $39 spray gun and some paint. Preped the truck and violated every rule that I didn't read in the book.

Like you Uma? I foundit's easy to get good coverage. Unlike some cell phone service.

looks good. although i've had bad experiences painting chrome rims. Be sure and sand em up to get em rough first.
