Is it possible to get this many mpg?

Ok guys I just calculated my miles 190 divided by gallons to fill the tank back to full 8.99 is 21.1. is that possible or did I completley screw up this equation. oh ya my 84 pickup is running 32x11.50 x15s and 4.88 gears and a 5 speed every thing else is complelley stock. so what do you think fellas is it possible or am I stupid.

yup thats how you do it. but wait a couple of fills and calculations before you get too stoked. gas mileage will change from fill to fill ( due to sometime the tank fills more/less, petal to the metal factor, altitude, temp, speeds, etc....)

I've seen 26mpg before with my 4Runner, 32s, 4.56s and the 5spd

I usually get around 19-21 mixed mpg

You're probably getting a little less than that with 32's and 4:88's because it's geared a touch shorter than stock that way (speedometer won't be exactly right). I pulled 19.5 consistently when gas was 4.40 a gallon this summer on 33" KM's and 4:88 gears so it is possible with a good running truck, a light foot and lots of highway to pull that kind of mileage.

really with these old trucks that geared for 55 mph, if you do alot of highway 70 mph, thats where the gas goes.
