Thats my truck. Older than me but still running. Kinda. Got it running today after rebuilding the carb last night from it sitting for 3 years. Dang I missed my truck. More work to be done. Almost zero mods.

 

she is an 84 4 inch lift i figured out today and a 3 body with as many leaks as a new born kid

 

looks good, but needs some mud on her! haha.

 

1985 True SR5 , Moon roof,power windows,A/C,cruise control. As you can tell bone stock..

 

fixed the issue a little bit about the mud

 

thats nice i like the dual shocks set up

nic ce truck dude, it looks like yours has manual locking hubs, i thought the '85 xcabs came standard with auto locking hubs?
i like your late model v6 grill too.

 

My 85 SR5 Xtra Cab has Manuel hubs, pretty sure they're stock. It's an SR5 Model if that matters

 

Hey good eye! Yes it had auto locking hubs from the factory but they broke. so we put in manuals. The grill was there before I got it. Im sure it was swithced out when it was tagged in the front. As you can tell its been tagged a few times in the front

 

This is my 85, good little wheeler, I am thing about going to 39's though.

The wife named it "The Gecko"

i bought it with 90k and did an instant motor rebuild..
