yeah i moved mine 3.5" forward but dont have to touch the fire wall.

Heres my 85 runner

4" allpro springs in the front, chevys in the rear with 2" blocks, procomp es9000's, trail-gear highsteer, all the little stuff to give me about 5.5" of lift, and tiny 30" tires.
engine: pacesetter headers with magnaflow cat
All I need now are some 35"s and armor.

I think they are toyota factory wheels painted black. mine looked like that when I bought my first 4runner...

i really like the look. they remind me off old CJ or old ford wheels. They would look awesome with 33x10.50s on there! Doubt they'd fit a 12.50 though.

those are from the factory and came with the truck when i bought it alittle over a year ago. They are 15x7. too small to put 33's on them IMO. I really dig the black rims too and def adds a better look to it.

I think they were a bonus along with the new engine from the factory that came in it.

here's my '84 runner. I finally got it geared with 5.29's and aussie lockers front and rear.

So many tough ass lookin rigs. Mine is an 1985. 3IN body lift, IFS axles in the back +3in width, Landcruiser brakes up front. ODO show 193K but drivetrain has about 50K. Interior is rough. Frame is very solid for a WV truck. I have a lot of annoying little things to fix. Rear window does not go up and down. It has crappy bench seats in the front. I have to fab up some panels for the inside of the body to cover the wheel wells and such. Only real issue running wise is a sensor issue. According to previous owner it is a knock sensor. I am very happy with this for what I have invested. As she sits I have $1500.00 in her. The tires have less than 1K miles on them. Other than some slight running rich it runs like a top. 75MPH on the interstate and it tracks straight as an arrow.

It is going to be a labor of love but worth the money and time in the long run.
