Ok, something is wrong please help

Well story first
I blew my 22R engine last year(it was rebuilt with head out of spec) It was rebuilt again this summer.

I just dropped it in, hooked it up, filled up the oil, coolant, no leaks, all is looking good.

I just in turn it over, she fires GREAT then coolant/oil shoots out of the head(literally) 3' in the air.

I shut it down. Drain everything, then pull the oil pan plug and dump in some water into my radiator and it comes out the oil pan drain hole.

Now have I hooked up two hoses wrong?? Or am I missing something internal in the engine??

Thanks for any possible insight.

The coolant/oil shoots out of the head where? And is it both? Or just one or the other?
And are you sure it's coming out the oil pan drain when you put water in the radiator, or is it running down the side of the engine from somewhere else and looking like it's coming out the drain plug?
That's crazy.

Might sound stupid but not sure what galley plugs are? Might have put them in.

The fluid litterally pours out the oil pan. It came out of the head through the vent for the Air filter. I had the carb open to run it for first start up and it just blasted out.

If I put in 1 quart I would have 1 quart dumping out the oil drain hole.

I guess I don't quite know enough about all the inner workings of the engine to make a good guess, so I'd say you're either joking, or you forgot quite a few gaskets and such when you put the engine back together...

Oil seriously shot out of the carb?! Did you use a head gasket? Is it sealed right?

I wish I was joking. Nope coolant and oil shot out of the valve cover up through the little breather holes(pushed the hoses right off).
I never put it back together a machine shop did, got a nice excuse from the guy today but they are sending a tow truck up to grab it and deal with the problem.

Thanks guys.

Wow. Ok, through the PCV or breather that makes a bit more sense I guess. That sucks! Now you know which machine shop to avoid.
