Most likely areas are valve cover, oil pan, rear main seal, timing cover, pan bolt gasket, head gasket.

Clean up the bottom with degreaser and a roll of towels, start her up and crawl under and take a looksie.

I just re did the timing chain and resealed all that, that was when it started leaking much worse than before, i have already removed the oil pan and resealed it with the right stuff and that helped a little but not as much as i hoped for. the problem with cleaning it and taking a looksie is that it is everywhere. ill try the valve cover as ive had issues with that before but it appears to be coming from everywhere! i dont think its anything up top due to the front, passenger, and drivers sides of the engine not being covered in oil. possibly that weird cover on the back of the head?

I have had issues in the past with it coming out of the rear half moon on the valve cover. It was dumping out like a faucet!!

Also as others have stated, Rear main, oil sending unit, etc...

I had a leak (about 1 quart every time i drove!) that I parked truck over for 3 months. With a few other cars I was in no hurry to fix it.

The other day I decided to dig in and get her fixed , i crawled under it and cleaned it all up. Started up motor and with a flashlight was looking for trails of oil and it turns out it was the 0.99 gasket on the oil pan drain plug... Still kicking myself in the A for not looking earlier.

"Coming out of everywhere." Is difficult to diagnose.

Check that harmonic balancer sleeve and seal! Mine is leaky and comes out right by the crank pully seal. It hits the fan and sprays everywhere!

I put some FIPG on the half moons on the valve cover and the oil leak is gone, for a whole year i thought it was the rear main seal.

One thing I like using to find oil leaks is a UV dye kit. You would pour this dye fluid into the crankcase and then drive the vehicle around. After that, use the blacklight flashlight and goggles to see where the leak is coming from because of the bright luminescent oil.

My Leak

Is anyone looking at this thread still. Anyways, I have oil leaking, its coming down from the topside of the transmission, its dripping off around the area of the transmission fill plug as well as the passenger side of the tranny, even dripping off the brake cable, coming down the body there. Any thoughts? Could it be engine oil dripping onto tranny? BTW, I checked the transmission case and there's plenty of oil in there.
Thanks y'all

x2 on what snobdds said. They leak all the time. You sometimes have to rtv where they seat to stop it.
