ok so Im having chargeing problems and I want a second opinon... I start the trucks and it runs and idles fine but charges a lil high but when I accelerate or give it gas the charge goes up (like the tach does) and goes back down when I let off... I was thinking alternator... I swaped out the IC regulator... checked all my fuses and all are fine but hav not checked the alternator... is there any thing else I can check before going thru the hastle of removing it

The voltmeter on my 84 fluctuates with revving... this is pretty common in most vehicles. Idle is at 700-800 RPM, however an alternator does not provide maximum power output until roughly 1400 RPM. THe needle will also dance to your turn signals. Its pretty common.

so i decided I liked the look of a lift on my 84 instead so I threw my lifted springs on it and a rear shackle and no she sits almost perfectly level... next I want to do high steer and maybe bob the bed to the size of a short bed

I have decided to buid this truck up instead of my 81

lol thanks 4x4yota. Its has the usual 2 or 3in Rnacho suspension lift and it HAD the black American Racing rims with 31" offbrand A/T tires. Now she has chrome "saw blades" wrapped in 33x12.5x15 tires (still A/T).

The front basket thing is a Warn winch cradle (winch not pictured). It kinda sticks out too much in my opinion, I might dump it and save the mounting platform for a later project. Here's my most recent pic:
