You want to sell the center caps?

 

I would prefer to sell the wheels and center caps but if I sit on them for a while I'm down to sell them individually.

 

Got an email from marlin informing me the 1200# clutches are in again. Got it ordered and on the way. Awesome. Not going to install it till I do the motor rebuild and swap but nice to know I have it. Murphy's law says when I'm ready to swap motors they will be out of stock again.

Also did some brainstorming about weather protection with the Fj bikini top on for the summer. Pulled the rear carpet out and think I'm going to make a cardboard templet of the seat backs. Then take said template to a local plastic supplier up here and have them make me some matching color seat backs. Should be thin enough to be able to use the push in fasteners.

Also looking at getting a set of marine grade speakers for the speaker pods in the back. And maybe putting some marine grade 6x9's in the cubby holes in the backseat. I have a small amp that should be able to drive all that no problem. So with the marine grade speakers I shouldn't have to worry about water intrusion that much.

Now if only I had money.

Ok so I am getting close to starting my build thread. Thinking I'm going to call it the Car Seat Crawler. The main reason I got a 4runner vs an extcab pickup is I have a newborn son now. And later on it would be nice to take the family out and play. I think the Car Seat Crawler sounds pretty good. Thoughts? As soon as I order suspension or gears and lockers I will start my build. Now I wonder if I an get this moved over to the build up section.
