My daily driver is my Impreza. I've had the 4runner in my avatar since 03, that has been my project/offroad type truck. This new one I really didn't need and was an impulse buy.

I'm kind of up in the air as what to do with both of the trucks. I really like this new one because its in really good shape but my old one has the whole sentimental value thing not to mention its pretty damn capable offroad.

I dunno we'll see what happens I guess. One way or the other I have to get rid of one of them.

So you have 3 4Runners? One shell that was for parts and 2 running?

yes. 2 85's in great shape and one 87 parts truck. I know I'm spoiled.

This is my other 4runner.

I thought it was leaking out of the timing cover but once I got in there I realized it must be the crank seal, and this is what I found.

The seal came out with the pulley. Usually they are in there pretty good and require some prying to get them out. It also grooved the pulley so I had to put on a repair sleeve.

Damnit! I was so jealous of that truck.
My daily driver was rolled and bought back from insurance. Yours is way worse though.

Sorry to hear it. And see it.
