Angle grinder and a cut disc...mark off where you want the final line, then go down an inch and mark that off parallel and cut there...turn up a 1" lip w/ some vice grips and beat it smooth with hammer/dolly. I got pics on my website of how easy it really is...a sawzall tends to get away from you...and in doing a lip...you can "hide" any mistakes cause they get turned under.

Looking forward to seeing this beast at SE4RJ3.

Wheels look MUCH better black!

"A carpenter isn't known for how good his work is its how well he hides his mistakes

Angle grinder with a grinding wheel will clean that right up. You could even take some painters tape and make you self a line to grind up to so you have some kind of reference rather than trying to eye it up. Might I suggest ditching the valence coming off the bumper?

EDIT: Pretty much what he just said

Another rim finished:

So I like them, any & all opinions welcome. I used two coats of primer, two coats of gloss paint, two coats of clearcoat, all rattle-can.

The rearveiws, gotta go. They look useless and ghey.

Man up and really cut those fenders off. Take it right up to where the wholes from the fender flares where.

Black on Black rocks.... So you might as well paint the grill and bumper too.

While your at it, drive the beast out to me and we can fab up some real bumpers and real rock sliders for you too.

I agree they mirrors are useless, too small, cant see a thing. I think I am going to black out the grill/bumpers too. If I could get out to PA, I would, no one around here does any fab work & I will have to learn how to do all my own.

I'll just leave all the chrome on the engine!, Plus I got two blingin' YotaTech decals going for me...
BTW I love camo paint, I had considered painting mine earlier.

LMFAO why the hell now? I have a second vehicle to drive but yet when the
Runner was street legal I still chose to drive it over my Blazer... Who cares what people think, they just don't know about all the fun they are missing out on

Have you gotten any further on the Fenders? Whats next after them???

EDIT: = Motivator to chop ˟˟˟˟˟ apart

Broke a lug yesterday, popped off the spindle inside the rotor, so now I can't remove the lugnut to remove the tire. I will try again today to remove it, otherwise I will have to drive it to a tire shop.

I am holding off on trimming the fenders a few more days.
I can't fix them now, so I might as well not cut 'em up.
Just bought a new (used) set of rims to put cheapo AT's on to get around in & save the Boggers for the trail.

Driving this thing on the road with the stock drag link is downright scary with 39.5's
hopefully the new tires will take care of that until I can beef up the axles & do crossover steering.

Crossover steering for sure.

Lug studs are like $1.50 at the local auto parts store.
