My 85 Toyota
#4
85 Toyota Currently 32" tires with no lift. Bobbed the bed and removed the front Sway Bar, 5.29 gears with lockrights front and rear. Plus Yellow Top Optima. Replaced the blown 22R with a used 20R, plus a new paintjob that will never be forgotten.
All this to have something to take to River Rock this weekend.
Bought a stock truck 3 weeks ago and above is what I currently have.
Next upgrade is the extreme 6" lift so I can fit the 37" micky's with trailready beadlocks plus dual T-case crawler setup, both cases running stock gears at first. Also in the next couple month's it will get a full exo cage, relocated rad and fuel cell to the bed.

This is my first Toyota, wanted one before I bought the Jeep, got sick of the Jeep middle of last year and have been with-out a rig since, now I have a Real Trail Rig!

UPDATE:
Fuel tank issues at the river rock run so I spent more time behind the tow strap then on the trail. Did a trailer rebuild of the carb on Saturday there and things seemed to get better for the rest of the day at least.
Rebuilt the carb this last weekend for another trail run and flooded the entire time I was there.
Was pissed off when I returned home on Saturday so I ordered all the parts to convert it to Propane. I will start a new thread when I start that conversion this weekend if the parts get here all at once.
Have 6 forklift tanks coming Thursday afternoon so that I don't get it all together and not have any Propane to try it out.
Here is a link to the River rock photos and last weekends run.

Here are some cool pics of it:

Plus, I won an award for most original rig at River rock.

OK, the parts arrived today, Here they are.
VFF 30 lock-off assembly, this is a Vacuum operated shut off valve.

This is the Model J converter, it's task is to convert High pressure Liquid propane (LPG) to a low pressure gas. The water inlet and outlet are what keep the converter from freezing under the pressure of the propane (iceing)

Here they are both installed with out the lines run for the heater lines yet.

The mixer was dropped off at Foothills 4x4 today to have the adaptor plate machined, I will have another update hopefully tommarow when the get that finished, plus all 6 full forklift tanks get delivered on Thursday!
After all the mixer is the sexiest part of the install!

That is mechanics lube, things go together much easier when you have that around.
Beer, Propane, and fabing things just does not seem like a good idea when you think about it. Kinda seems like I am building a rather large bomb!
