It runs!
Have not tried it on the trail yet but so far I can see this as being the Best mod ever! Well worth the money.
I will write and article on it for others, all the kits that are out are too expensive and I did it for half the price using all NEW parts!
Total cost with 6 full tanks and having an adaptor machined 595$.

i've heard this is the way to go if you don't want EFI. however did you ever look at gotpropane.com? i know they sell a pre-made adapter that bolts on top of the 22R carb baseplate and takes the part of the carb body.

Yes, I looked there and even called, they only sell kits, will not sell the parts, also no one made a plate for a 20R.
I still came out better then buying there kit plus I know how it all works and what it takes to get it working if by the slim chance something does go wrong with it.
Drove the truck 80 miles today with no trouble. Kind of odd having to not feather the trottle when you come to a stop.

Can you post some more info about the propane setup? Also wondering how it performs on the street? Horsepower, mileage, etc...? How did you get all those parts so cheap. The kits i have seen start at around $800 not including tanks!!!!

I puchased all the parts new off eBay from a seller called nashlift, he is a fork lift parts dealer and was very helpfull in my conversion. He also sells the 600+$ kits. I knew what I needed ordered it from him, left a phone number for him to call so I could order the lines, all parts arrived 3 days latter. Entire conversion process from ordering parts to completion took 6 days. It took longer to remove all the fuel stuff then to get the Propane installed.
Truck started first try and I have not adjusted a thing since. I can keep up or pass on the highway.
I ordered propane tanks from a local supplier that deals with forklift tank exchange. The provide the tanks and fill them at my house on a will call basis.
I still have not had a chance to do a complete write-up on this conversion but will be doing so shortly as soon as I get the chance.
