Looking for the best Radiator option

Hey guys,

I am replacing my radiator (and thermostat), but have looked at several types etc online at varying prices.

By chance, do any of you have personal recommendations on a specific radiator for my 1994 3.0L V6 4Runner (With a fresh head gasket rebuild as well!)

Cheers,
Jeff

Doing the research on the old Brass copper V/S new Aluminium for my CUCV M-1008 with a 4 core radiator and 6.2L diesel. The older materials transfer heat better but the newer radiators have larger core tubes with more surface area. IE: The newer 6.5L GM diesel radiator is smaller and lighter but works as well if not better. Bottom line is don't be afraid of the new style aluminium core radiators.

So please tell me how you repair an aluminum radiator in a field type situation where your several hours from the road.

I agree in mall crawlers they work just fine.

If you can give me a solution that I need no longer worry about this aspect I would recommend a All Aluminum.

Then the fact aluminum is so porous after a few years it is almost impossible to get clean.
To me being able to repair it in the field is all that matters at this point.

Now if you never venture more then a winch cable length off the road are the type who just can manage to check the oil sometimes it really does not matter.
