Lookin to make a cheap lift
#1
I just bought a 85 pup and i dont want to go out and spend all this money on the suspention if im just ganna tear it up. A fella told me to swap the front springs to the rear and put the rear springs in the front and then shackel the rear. But i dont know if that would work or not.

Was that you on Pirate?
Take two rear packs and combine them to make one pack, then put the combined packs in the front. Go to the junkyard and get some Chevy springs and put them in the back, you will get some decent lift and they will ride and flex great. Putting the front springs in the rear will only hurt the ride and flex.
BTW, I sat here for a good couple minutes saying, "Why the hell does he keep saying 'pup'??" I eventually figured it out, haha.
