Lift help with NWOR and All Pro

Now i kno there is a huge grudge community out there against some of these lift kits, mainly it seems NWOR but i dont understand why. I have heard a lot of good things about NWOR but there have also been a few really bad reports. I was looking at whether or not i should go with them vs. All Pro, etc. I am not a rock climber or serious mudder i just want to hit the trails occasionally and have a functional vehicle, so therefore i was looking at NOWR because they have a two inch lift package and a 3.5 inch one at good prices, and i dont want an extreme lift. Most of the complaints i have seen are regarding later models than mine, (i have an 84 solid axle pickup) and i have heard all good reports for my model and regarding what i want to do. I know this has been debated to death in other threads but since mine is an earlier model pickup i wanted your guy's input. I am new to the whole yota upgrade community and your guys' help to me has been awesome already so thank you all in advance.

I am running an all pro solid axle setup. I don't have any complaints.

About $3100 when all was said and done. Then again I did a SAS. You already have a solid axle, so the price will be significantly lower for you. Have you checked out trail-gear, marlin crawler, or sky manufacturing yet? They all make high quality kits for your truck. Some even cost less then All Pro's.

ok so now with those options what is my best choice? I only want to lift between 1- 3 1/2 inches and after looking at them idk what my best option is. I dont want to spend too much, ballpark 500 bucks or so, give or take one hundred either way. What do you think? And what is the difference between a suspension lift and a body lift? What are the advantages and or disadvantages?

haha would that even get me much?

Search.

If you dont know the basics, then you are not ready for a lift.
