Leaf Springs

The rear of my truck is noticeably lower then the front.

My guess would be that my leaf springs are done considering its a 93.

But i dont know enough about cars to say whether thats correct or not, is there an easy way to tell if the springs are bad or if whoever owned the truck previously did something else to it?

springs sag. if the back end is lower, it's likely worn springs. on the cheap, add a leaf from a different pack, or look up the ZUK mod.

to do it right, get some new leaves.

Yes, an add-a-leaf would put arch back into the main pack and get it up off of that overload leaf.

You don't need to junk the spring. I still have the original packs on my '85 with an add-a-leaf.
