X2-picture links suck. we are lazy.
With a photobucket.com account you can just copy and paste the [IMG] code into your post and than we get instant gratification with the pic of your truck with out the extra work

Have fun with your truck, looks like one I recently saw on the portland craigslist...good find

nice truck, I have never seen a xtra cab with bench seat. you need to fix that rust on the bed on passenger side, that metal so thin rust will cancer the bed real quick. You need a rear bumper before some idiot takes out the tailgate. but its a nice truck, you got a good deal

oh. I didnt mean adjust them to make it stop smoking. I meant adjust them because they are loud as hell.

Or it could be the timing chain chewing into the timing cover...then the smoke could be from coolant getting into the pistons some how

Either way, take off the valve cover. inspect the timing chain and do a valve job.

Is the oil milkshake looking? coolant brown/blackish?

And I really couldnt tell if that was blue smoke or white smoke. So I assumed it was white. White=burning coolant. Blue(ish)= burning oil.

could be the timing chain guides, probably need to replace them along with a new timing chain.
