I own a 1985 4Runner 2 door and need seats. What seats can I put in if I cant find the stock ones? What years and models are interchangable? I have 2 buckets in the front and a bench in the rear.

 

The only things that will 100% bolt in stock are 84-89 4runner seats

Truck seats do not bolt in 100% ( i know, i have tried it) and 84-88 truck seats dont have an auto slider for access to the rear. They also do not go as far forward.

 

Any seat is interchangable just takes the right persuasion

I put OBX racing seats using accord slides, only needed to drill three holes per seat. Too easy. and comfy.

 

Like the above poster pointed out any seat will fit with some work. I've got 98 civic seats in mine, 3 holes lined up as it was, had to drill and bend one tab to bolt it down but the seats fit nicely. 98-02 civic seats are all the same, and quite comfy.

 

Im pretty sure not all 1st gens had that auto slider as mine never came with one from the factory.
