Well I sold my 85 sr5 xtra cab a number of years ago and have regretted it for a while now. The other night I had a dream that I was driving it and now I have the bug again. Figured I would jump on the board and start keeping my eyes open for a replacement truck. So I wanted to say hi after a long time absent. I'm looking forward to jumping into some discussions and rejoining the community! Oh yeah, if anyone happens to get the urge to sell their truck, let me know. I will literally travel anywhere in the US for the right truck at this point, lol. Oh and here is the truck I had and pretty much the exact truck I would like to get again:

What was the tube bumper guard you had the KC lights attached to? Was it a custom built unit or does a company still sell those? I would like to do the same with my truck.

I found your thread on the free light bar, and that it was purchasable unit from ORW but I don't see it on there website anymore.

 

Bummer that they don't sell it anymore! I just did a quick search for a light bar like the one I had and unfortunately didn't see anything. If I were you I would hunt eBay or have a Fab shop make one.

Yeah I'm definitely going to keep my eyes peeled for another truck. I'm cool with essentially restoring one if needed as well, so I should be able to find something decent 🤷🏼˟♂️.
