how much power?

Does a stock 88' 22RE have enough power to run four 55 watt aux lights?

It should, I have just 2 Hella lights on mine and it was fine, if it can't handle the power just upgrade to a GM alternator, you will need it if you ever add a winch or anything anyway.

Thanks! BTW, do you have the GM alternator I'm interested in the part number or a link where to get it.

I guess I could check the battery voltage with a meter while running them.

I think the stock alternator puts out 60 amps.

Here's a cool calculator to determine watts, amps, or volts given 2 of the units.

look on trailgears website they have the mounting bracket and a napa number or the alt .
