Header?
Ok my exhaust manifold has a crack and sounds like a p.o.s... So I went on e-bay and found a pacesetter header for 150.00 it has the second pipe so you can bolt it all up but it is a long tube type. I found a differn't no name brand but it was 120.00 and looked like it would just replace the stock manifold...I also found a stock replacement manifold for 70.00, My question is should I run the header? - is it always going to leak? does it really give you 20% more power, and do I need to upgrade my cat and muffler, cause I don't want my truck to sound like a riced out honda....

i had the pacesetter full length header with front pipe. worked great and no leaks. little more power on top end. same thing and price on summit. no ebay hassle

Pick up a Remflex gasket at the same time. These are the top of the heap when it comes to stopping exhaust leaks. http://www.remflex.com/ they're the same price or cheaper than any other gasket kit, and made in the US too.
