Not really sure what you would use besides some elbow grease, scraping and maybe some sort of wire brush pipe cleaner??? Had a buddy that used a really small wire brush wheel and welded it to a small thin flexible rod and connected it to his drill. It worked really good for what he was doing but he used it for other stuff but it was cool

At the point your at, I would just take the head off and get it checked out and cleaned. Maybe get a valve job done. Then put a new head gasket and timing chain kit on. I know double chains very rarely wear out, but the tensioners do. Then seal the front cover.

It's not that hard, if you can afford the down time...

Finally had some time to get back to it. When I got it apart I found My pistons have a lil wiggle not much just enough you can see them move a little. So i reckon my question is how much would new pistons and rings and all the nessicary stuff to get it .20 over run?Name: 20140202_142439_zps9sxu7ag1.jpg

Did you mic the Cylinders out. Stock diameter is 92mm then go from there. I just had mine done at 40 over. I think that would be your first step. Then you could order rings and pistons accordingly.

Thanks for the info but nah I decided not to mess with the bottom end, till a later date when I have more cash, its in good enough shape to last a while longer.

Edit: forgot to tell y'all the results I went from 90-120psi compression and smokeing like a bandit to 150-155psi and running like a new truck.
