I was thinking about gears last night, because I could not sleep. I was thinking that in my last truck which was a 93 4x4, I used a set of 4:88 with posi out of a 4 runner to get 4:875 front and rear. My thoughts were that since the axles on my 85 are the same front and rear then I should be able to use two rear pumpkins from a 4runner and install them in the front and rear axle of my 85 to get 4:88's with posi. Has anybody done this, does anybody know if I could do this. I am thinking this will score some gears with posi pretty cheap.

Cool, thanks for the input. I was concerned that they would not work in the front and would have to be reverse rotation or something. Thanks again, now I can get posi front and rear with gears to boot!!
