Running a little short on funds, so I'm working on cleaning up parts on the 87 pick up, and 85 runner DD. What have you all used on your frames to make look new again, both inside and outside.

Well, how much rust is on your frame? If there is rust, save up for POR-15, or Rust Bullet or any other type of product like that. I got lucky, I bought an old Arizona rig, so I just needed some fresh paint on it, I used the rustoleum Hammered finish paint. You can still paint over rust, but mine was minuscule compared to some frames I have seen from the salt belt.

 

Mine is an AZ Rig also. I bought it out of Wash DC, the PO bought it then did nothing to it but let it sit. I have slight surface rust all over, but no flaking rust or rust holes. I will check into what you put in the last post.
