Looks like antifreeze to me. After my engine rebuild the watar pump that I thought was still good dumped out like that but only when it was cold. I suspect it was just evaporating when warm but it did come from the weep hole.
What do you think of this clear fluid at the front of the engine?
I thought it must be silicone coming from the fan clutch but I suppose it could be some coolant thats coagulated or something..
I washed it off after I took the pic and haven't seen any appear since. It's been a few months.
The fan clutch friction feels good, good amount of resistance kind of like it's turning in a jar of honey.
Leaks are difficult to identify with out a clean dry starting point. What ever that is unless it's only leaking during the cool down (engine off) cycle due to gravity is going to be all over the hood and inner fenders also which might make it easier to identify. Any of those rotating parts are going to fling stuff everywhere, I'm not seeing anything forward of the balancer so... From way over her at the other side of the internet you drove through or over something maybe.
