E-brake and rain = no release

It has been raining the last few days and when I went out to my truck this morning it would not move with the ebrake off and the trans in neutral. I tried gassing the motor in gear, but nothing. I tried forward and the truck was able to move. The truck worked fine the rest of the day with no issues.

Should I be greasing something under the truck? I pressure washed the under side a few weeks ago and we have had no had any rain up until Weds. The last time I drove the truck was Thursday which might have given rust time to set in some place where it don't belong.

Was it cold outside and was the e-brake on for that duration? It may have 'frozen' so to say and it would take a couple of meters, or sometimes more for the rear calipers to free themselves.
