Does anyone know the dipstick length for a 1985 ext cab? I have a 14.25 inch stick and it always reads low and if i fill it to the line it smokes alot. I heard that there is another size dipstick out there that is 15.5 inches and I was wondering if I should have the longer one one that might read more oil lower in the pan. I dont know maybe i just need new rings?
