Dash Installation Help, temp controls ????

I am putting the dash in my 1985 4runner and got a little lost in the swap. The temp control unit has 4 wires (not electrical wires) that come out of the back to control the flaps on the heater core; I forgot were one of them goes. It is angeled towards the driver side of the heater core, is blue colored (the only one) and controls the temperature slider. If anyone could look under their dash and help me out I would appreciate it. I checked the internet and FSM and found nothing. Sorry for not having a pic but the digital camera is broken. Thanks guys. A picture would help if possible.

I believe that one goes out the firewall to the heater control valve .
