I realize this topic has been covered a million times. But i recently replaced the head gasket on my 1991 3.0. Naturally i wanted to cut out the crossover as many of you do. So i did and cut the crossover to make a turn down pipe on the passenger side. I blocked off the drivers side with a plate and brought it to an exhaust shop and they look at it and said " the exhaust we way to close to the brake and fuel lines. we can't do that" anyone else run into this issue?
