Crank pulley/22r
Is there a difference between a dual chain pulley and a single chain pulley for 22R's? As far as the part of the pulley that goes into the seal / lenght?
Any info on this would be great, thanks!

yes I think there is, but if somebody knows for sure please correct me! (please be gentle) lol Ok well I've was told (sales rep at LC engineering) when I changed out my timing kit from single chain to double chain kit that the early 22 R Block has a thicker timing chain cover like the 20r engine so an early 22r engine will accept a dual row timing chain with no other parts needing to buy as for a late 22 R (85-9?) has a thinner timing chain cover so therefore will only accept a single chain set up unless you purchase a different timing chain cover (early) that is thicker and you also need longer bolts to go with (single chain cover bolts are too short now) that because the timing chain cover is thicker now so you're bolts will be shorter. Ok that's all I got for that lol hope that helps

Dale you were half right , the problem I was having turns out to be the oil pump housing. It seems that there are 2 oil pump housings one short snout and one long,I had the long and my pulley is for the short one and it was lightly rubbing up against the housing when tightened down, I switched it out today and problem solved. I needed the short pump housing. Thanks
