Check engine codes
I searched for a while but wasn't about to fin any info on this. I have a check engine light on and I know there is a way to check what this light is for. I have a 85' 22re 4rnrn. Any info on how to get there codes would be a huge help right now.

Here is a link to how to check the codes and what they will mean. The plug will be on the driver side, by the air box, and on my 85 it is yellow. It will be the plug that has two terminals in it. You can use a short piece of wire with the ends striped off of it. Plug both sides in and turn the key on, it will start flashing codes if you have them. Count the number of flashes and compare to the chart.
