Camper shell help Lots of pics

Hey all,
I've been lurking around the site looking up past threads on shells and I happened to find one for free that happened that supposedly came off of a newer model toyota. I picked it up, it doesn't have a back window (I do have an extra, but I'm not sure about the fitment- also dropzone if you see this where did you get the connectors for your custom window?).
The problem is the top goes a little higher over the cab trapping air. Before I decide to use this thing how much will this murder my gas mileage?? I drive it back and forth long distances so this is extremely important. Should I keep looking? Sorry for the night only pics. I can post day ones if needed

Also, can I get this thing on without drilling into my bed?? I really don't want too if possible.

Thanks all!

Clamps won't work on his truck...if you look at the bed rail his lip is on the outside of the bed...will need to use bolts and drill through...2nd gen trucks had two types of beds..
inner lip -allows you to use c-clamps or regular canopy clamps
outer lip-like what is pictured--bolts only--pretty sure...been a looooong night..

Custom Window? do you mean the back of my Trekker? if so I cut a piece of Makrolan (like Lexan) and was able to just drill through it and used stainless bolts..

mileage: i don't think it will affect it too much..

I've said it before and I'll say it again...

Duct tape all the way under the bed, around over the top of the camper several times. That way you dont drill into the bedrail. If you're creative, you can even make a window for the rear of your shell--out of, you guessed it... duct tape!!
