bidding on ebay

i was just slyly outbidded on ebay for several items in relation to the toyota's. i was wondering if it might be a good idea to list ebay names here so we dont bid against eachother and promote yet better unity among our members? or is it a free for all, highest payer-first serve policy?

Good idea in theory but bidders determine value and price so this would not be fair to the seller and would rip them off. I am a seller and buyer and see both sides of fence. I would rather win my item fair and square and not use this site to price fix auctions.
Just my opinion.

I have to agree. Plus, what if two members need the same part up for auction? One gets it and the other is SOL?

always a free for all when its bidding time...

if i recognize a bidder, i may contact them to see that we dont outbid/ each other.
it comes down to how bad you want/need the part. most times it will become available again.

when there have been 2 items included in one sale i have contacted the buyer and got the other for about 1/2 of the end price. sometimes they dont want to reply thinking its spam... its harder when the bidders ID is hidden.

Ahh, then it wasn't you that outbid me on that trumpet.... I lost it by $6. I'll admit to being one of those last minute bidders if I'm home though.
