I have an 84 pickup, 22r and was wondering what the best exhaust system is to run. I am looking for a nice rumble with a little rasp. Any suggestion?

There are as many different answers as people on this forum. There are already quite a few threads on it and you can usually find sound clips.

I'm a fan of magnaflow 18" body for the muffler, 2.25" pipe and a high flow cat. Nice rumble at idle, a little raspy but not anywhere near ricer sound. Gets pretty loud at 4k+ though. Stick with the factory manifold too, headers just add noise and little else.
