no point, leave it stock.

You need the stock for a snorkel system regardless.

Then your best bet is to do a battery/intake swap. since you have a 22re.

Those little muffin filters are near worthless, good for stopping rocks. I use them just for bandaids since they are small and offer only half the filtering quality. You always have to make custom brackets for them.

Didnt forget about the pictures..... The site says they are way to big to upload. Go to LC Enginering's web site and it should give you a god idea what to expect.

here is my intake its a supra afm with spectre piping and filter. the supra afm is the best way to get air in the motor and the header makes alota differance.

Have to agree although I went a different route.

22re, Supra AFM, Specter filter, freaky filter box, battery swap (to get the intake away from the radiator heat) and a cooler air plumbing attempt. Also run an LCE header to help it breathe.

I bought a K&N drop in filter since I just don't like spending $15 every few months for a paper filter. The thing that really made a difference in power was the header and exhaust replacement. I'll bet I netted 5hp more, to get a grand total of 110hp out of my 22re. Now that's worth bragging about.

Of course, running 33s on stock gears kind of takes away all the excitement.

I got all the pipeing at auto zone it was round a 100 dollars that was with the filter. And i got the supra afm from a salvage yard from 90. It opens up the air flow a ton its 3in all the way through unlike the stock. Im also running the lc header its a lil pricey but well worth it.
