Another Weber 32/36 question…
I have an 84 pickup that I bought with a 32/36. Egr has been deleted and exhaust is muffler only. It runs and idles fine with a slight hiccup when stabbing the throttle off idle, but is running so rich that it smokes at idle and even more when getting into the throttle. It doesn’t smoke when cold I’ve replaced accelerator pump, power valve, needle and seat, reset the float countless times as instructed, even set it higher and lower to see what would change. Put smaller main jets and idle jets in it as well, no change. Still loaded up on gas. Plugs are black and dry. Compression is 160-170 in all four cylinders. No vacuum leaks anywhere. Timing set and distributor advancing like it should. 100% percent sure it’s fuel smoke, not my first time around with carburetors but it is my first 22r with a Weber. I’m stumped, anything else I should be looking at?

Does it have a fuel pressure regulator dialed down to a low PSI for the Weber (2-4 psi I think)? I'm no carb expert either but if changing the jetting isn't changing the mixture I would probably be making sure it's a genuine Weber.

Forgot to add, fuel pressure regulator is set at 2.5 psi. I’ve dropped it down to 1 psi and up to 3.5 psi, no change whatsoever. The carb is a real Weber from what I can tell, has all the right stamps in the right place, made in Spain, etc. Symptoms seem like the bowl is overfilling and fuel is getting past the needle valve but I pressure tested the needle valve and seat and it’s working. Adjusting the float didn’t do much either.
