22R Weber 32/36 float level

So my truck has a severe bog when I hit the gas. I've read many things on the Weber from Pirate4x4, T4R, and here.

I can't seem to get a straight answer though on the float level. Some say drop it 2mm, while others say keep it stock and change jetting. I know my jetting is fine(stock). Not more than 2-1/2 turns out. There is no top speed, hit the gas and it bogs and starts to cut out.

So my question is, Go up or down on float level? I know all rigs are different and carburetors are lots of trial and error. I seem to have everything good except the float. It is a redline Weber 32/36 with Transdapt 1 piece.

Thanks for anyone who can provide some helpful information.

There is plenty of great info on sites for Redline, LCE, this forum, etc. All of them have very specific instructions on float settings.
Your problem is probably not the float. It's probably something else like fuel pump, too much fuel pressure for weber carb, timing, distributor/ignition, bad valve, or bad fuel.
