Almost there

So the truck is up and running strong again after a few miner issues still kicking around the idea of selling her but i might just keep her.

The issues that still remain are the driver side engine mount and the cracked exhaust manifold. I know i can get a exhaust manifold from a junk yard but have been thinking about trying to find a header and upgrade to 2 1/2 inch piping with a decent muffler. I know pacesetter and a few other companies make a large verity but what is the best bang for buck header out there.

My opinion is to go with a lc Engineering header. It is the best of its class and thats what I am going to get for lil' Red when I get the funds. i've heard of to many bad things about pacesetter that I wouldn't go with them. mostly because there cheaply made and the fitment is bad. Lc headers run about 390 but there worth every penny. My good friend has one on his tacoma and he swears by it. Exhaust wise you need to hear my truck and see what you choose to go with. look on youtube at 1996 toyota tacoma exhaust (mine is one of many). I have a dual exhaust that is about 2.5in pipes with a single flowmaster and stock converter. it don't sound at all like a ricer (its got a nice deep tone to it). cherry bombs will give you kinda a ricey sound but not to bad. I hope this helped you.

Thanks for the advice. Since mine is a 85 and still has the converter i am thinking about doing away with it at the same time since i dont have to worry about emissions.
