jsut got done researching old chevy trucks I can pick up a 350 witha turbo 400np205 14bolt d44 for 1300-1700 so I might ditch my yota sfa and just go all chevy but upgrade the d44 to a HPD60 So I am thinking my longs are up for grabs $500 is the typical used price

Yeah Rob, definitely go 14 bolt, i've seen the way you drive and you would blow that yota axle up first trip out

Didnt try the top speed yet, i got it up to 67 real speed. It drive a lot nicer, corners better and rides smoother. It still shakes but at different speeds. I'm almost sure all i need a steering stabilizer cause its not the normal shake where the whole truck shakes, its just a side to side shake in the wheel and i can see the tires doing it too. Must be brought on by out of balance tires and allowed to grow by my lack of stablizer

Thats a good point on the interior, i dont like my 79's interior much either.

I had no shaking problems with those tires the bb's balanced them out nicely get a stabizer on and see whats happens.......67? really man I would have to work hard to get going that fast. Always real good up to 30mph but after that It was a gutless dog that pissed me off daily......

vitally sorry to upset you that I am going all chevy
