When doing a partial rebuild on this carb, bad acc pump, I turned the bowl cover assembly and the secondary metering assembly fell out. It seems that the brass nut had backed off the needle and fell into the cavity along with a small square plastic piece with a hole in,the center.
The parts that I have are: Needle, Brass nut, 2 flat washers ( 1 large, one small), spring and the rectangular plastic piece.
What I need to know is the proper assembly. I know the brass nut goes on to of the actuator arm, and the spring goes below the nut with a piece that sits on top of the actuator arm. Btw when the needle fell out the larger dia washer was still on the needle.
I assumed that small dia washer was placed below the spring on top of the circlip, then the spring, through the hole in the actuator arm followed by the brass nut. I figured the plastic piece was placed below the large flatwasher to cover the hole into the float bowl. Anybody know for sure.
I also set the needle depth on full actuation of the actuator arm that the needle was fully down and closed the secondary main jet.
Any assembly and setting advice would be appreciated.
