adding power windows, relay wiring?

i got 2 camry window motors the other day to try and do power windows in my truck. I also got some 4runner window switches to use. The only problem is the motors are reverse polarity i guess red wire (+)/grn wire (-)=motor goes up, rd wire (-)/ grn wire (+)=motor goes down. i am not very familiar with relays. how would i go about wiring something up?

Depends what sort of relays you are using, if they only have one pair of contacts each, then you need 4 relays, 2 for up and 2 for down. Then run 12 volts to one relay contact and ground to the other relay contact then on the the motor. One the other pair of relays, run ground and 12 volts to the two relays (swapped polarity from the first pair) then on to the motor. The use the switch to turn on the first two relays for up and the 2nd 2 relays for down. If you have relays with 2 pair of contacts, then you can use 2 relays, one up and one down. Wire like above. Or pick up a power window setup (switches, wiring harness and relays) from a 4Runner or pickup and install that. The Factory Service Manual wiring diagram will show how that is wired.
