85 yota with 44's ?
i recently saw a 84 ora 85 yota with 44's on it. How much lift would it take to run those? Just wondering. If you got an pics of any members running 38 to 44's on a 84 to a 85 I'd like to see them thanks.

A guy across town from me has somethin' early like that with some 42-44's. He's got at least 8", looks like 12", of lift. I'll go sneak a pic, drive-by style. I'd rather not have to meet the guy, then I'd have ta tell him how ridiculous that much lift is.

I gotcha, but I hope he got us both. Because I wasn't kiddin' there, though you were. DAMMIT, now I have to go get that pic I promised. I'm tellin' ya ahead of time, the thing is just plain silly. I will state plainly here though, IF you want to be reasonable, going more than 5-6" lift wise, isn't gonna be it. Just my point o' view there.

not an 85, but a SAS truck, 90 something
not so much lift, lots of trimming.
The point of running 44's is to run big rocks. Usually, you stop caring about the body at that point.

For the record, I never cared about my truck's body in the first place

yeah it is
its now running a real axle under the front, and has full hydro
it also lost the bed, and i believe is getting a V8 with an auto and a forced shifter, so you still shift it, buts its an auto, so no worries about a clutch.
