85 4runner ecu problems

I started having trouble when it warmed up it started starving for fuel. No problems at very low speeds and i could turn the ignition off and back on again and it would breifly run perfect. Finally the ecu went out. Does anyone have any answers? Could it have been the ecu all the time?

It kept blowing the fuse an i figured out it was grounded out then i took it off and apart. It had two burnt spots in the circuit panel and it and smells deep fried.

See if there is some other reason that fuse was blowing and didn't blow your ecu. Then get a new ecu. Try some of our online vendors such as "Deathcougar" for used parts.

Any suggestion about the fuel problems? By the way it has a new pump and filter. It has been sitting up for awhile and i know the injectors will sometimes stick when they have been sitting but it don't seem to be that because it don't do it all the time.

Replaced ecu. Still having fuel problems after driving for about 15 min . Previous owner bypassed egr valve and all parts related to it. Could this be the problem? If so could someone please post a photo of theirs so i can hook them back up. Thanks.
