85 22re With hard time starting after sitting
I have a 22re that doesn't like to start after sitting over night or for more than 5 hours when the outside temp is hot(Phoenix,AZ). Takes about 20 key turns before it will run. It just wont catch, might stumble for second and die.
I'm not sure where to start looking. Should I start at the cold start injector and timing switch? Could it be TPS related? I get codes for (5)O2 sensor and (7)TPS.
Found this thread but it seems the problems were happening in cold weather:

Check your spark. Then timing. But your codes would be a good start. Maybe a new o2 censor? Maybe try unplugging it and trying to start it? Its an 85 so idk if the o2 would make that much of a difference. You could also try to disconnect the battery for awile to let the puter reset. Idk man....Just some ideas

I looked at the timing today and that was way off. I'll see in the morning if that was it. Plugs all looked good, MAF seems to work, truck died when I unplugged it.
O2 sensor was replaced in Nov with a Toyota sensor. There is a chip in the TPS sensor housing big enough to see inside the sensor, not sure if thats a problem.

I had one with a similar problem and found that if I pushed the throttle to the floor (more air) it would start rite up. I think what was happening is that the injectors were leaking down and flooding the engine. It got "put down" before I found what the problem really was But it went a long ways with this occasional hick up.
