I am re designing my interior and set up in my truck, took out the back seat and am probably going to replace it with a corbeau bench seat. I know this thread is old but does anyone have any pics of this installed? Or how they mounted it?

I replaced my entire seats with a Mazda 3 and they look awesome.Matching front and rear. The seats in the rear folds just like the original. Hope this helps.

Im looking at doing the same thing in our '96 runner.

our 13 yr old is 6'1''

Back seat is getting tight on legroom.

Thought about putting a Wrangler fold & tumble in place of the stock rear seat so we could scoot it back a little.. and maybe Miata seats in front to open up some space underneath for his size 14 feet.

I have the Miata seats in my 74 Bronco, and they are pretty thin bottoms.
Its either that or buy another vehicle cause Im gettin tired of riding in the back seat.

Lots of the 2 door SUVs have lots of room in the back seat, once you manage to get back there.

\Post up pics of the Mazda 3 seats !

I had the same problem with holding my seat up. I just used some of the hood pin locks from walmart. They keep the seat up and everything organized.

does anyone know what other toyota models have the same stock rear seats as an 85 4runnner?
ive heard dual cab hilux's and surfs may fit.
ive recently purchased an 85 and the previous owner has removed the rear seats to make storage boxes but now im taking them out because i want more seating capacity.

I just installed the split rear seats - they seem pretty good.
Where can I find rear seats bench or bucket?

Also, I know my rear seat locking mechanism sucks balls. If I have cargo in the back and I go down an incline, when the weight of the cargo shifts forward it always makes the back of the seat un hook. I don't think the locking mechanism is factory. I always have to put a racheting strap around the rollbar and seat to keep from unlatching.

Any ideas on seat replacements / upgrades? How about better locking for the seat back when wheelin?

Thanks!
Hi. I installed 2010 Fj cruiser Seats front and back. They latch and look great. The front are a little high tho

Do you have pictures, and did you have to do some modification to fit the front and rear seats in.
