Smile 22re p/s vaccum line

Hello guys i have a 1985 pu 22re. im deleting some vaccum lines and i noticed thier are two vaccum lines that come off the powersteering idk if i looked in the right place or hard enough but couldnt find anything on it. Is it possible to cap those and the fittings off the manifold where they connect would it affect anything and is it possible or is it best to leave them as is.

Do you want the engine to stall and take the power steering out at a very inconvenient moment when you might need it the most??

It is there for a reason, I would suggest not altering the system away from how the engineer designed it.

The power steering pump has a valve on it that senses pressure changes. When it does, the valve opens creating a vac leak which raises the engine rpm slightly to compensate for the extra load.
Only you can tell if yours is currently working or not. But no, it's not advisable to plug them off. Personally, I am not sure mine is working correctly, but intend to check it out when I have time.
